Our Purpose

We understand that:

– God gave us the 5 senses and they are all important especially hearing;
– the Bible mentions the word “hear” more than 1,000 times;
– for a person to have an encounter with Christ and be born again it is necessary to hear the gospel (John 3:3);
– for a person to grow in faith it is necessary to hear the Word of God (Rom 10:17);
– the Bible instructs us to honor the elderly (Lev 19:32);
– the Bible guides us to help those in need (Prov 10:31).

We seek to identify elderly people with hearing loss who are unable to obtain hearing aids on their own and who, as such, have not heard a clear presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This will be accomplished by organizing events and/or missionary trips that bring the Gospel to them. Each person who meets the criteria and is a participant in a HEAR THE WORD distribution event will receive a free hearing evaluation, an appropriate hearing aid if needed, a Bible and a Gospel presentation.

The Gospel will be shared whenever hearing aids are distributed.
